The People Behind ACP
ACP Energy's leadership team brings decades of combined experience in oil and gas operations, field management, finance, and strategic development. These are people who've worked wells, managed basins, and built companies, not from a boardroom, but from the field up.

Managing Partner — Appalachian Crude Partners
Tommy Pritchard has spent more than thirty years at the intersection of energy capital markets and field operations. Building companies, raising capital, and managing multi-basin portfolios through every commodity cycle.
He founded Pritchard Capital Partners, a 50-person energy investment bank across six offices that raised more than $15 billion for independent E&P companies. As CEO of Empire Petroleum Corporation (NYSE American: EP), he built a multi-state operated E&P from under $10 million market cap to over $400 million at its peak, navigating from negative crude prices to over $100 per barrel.
Between 2024 and 2025, he closed three acquisitions totaling more than $167 million in PV10 value, raising $108 million in combined equity and debt. ACP Energy Fund Management is the next chapter of that same playbook.
Managing Partner — Timberline Capital Partners
Jack Vaughn spent twenty years building and selling energy companies, not as a financial sponsor, but as the operating engineer who drilled the wells, managed the assets, and delivered the exits.
Beginning in 2002, Yorktown Energy Partners backed him through five successive ventures across the Williston Basin, Rockies, and Mid-Continent. The results: a $566 million Bakken exit to Enerplus and Kodiak, a $950 million midstream sale to Targa Resources, and a 63-well Granite Wash program with zero dry holes.
At ACP, Jack owns technical diligence. Every reserve report gets stress tested. Every decline curve gets interrogated. Every LOE gets benchmarked against what ACP's own field team would run. Twenty years of operating experience means he knows exactly where to find the operational upside that drives returns after closing.

Senior Vice President
Decatur Pritchard came to oil and gas from the institutional side of finance. Before joining ACP, he spent five years in Charlotte's banking corridor managing balance sheet risk, counterparty exposure, and structured products across some of the largest financial institutions in the country.
On the sell side, he managed counterparty risk for an equities trading desk and oversaw portfolio management across corporate debt, mortgage finance, and asset-backed securitization, working daily alongside credit underwriters and risk officers on portfolios exceeding $100 billion. On the buy side, he ran balance sheet and interest rate forecasting for over $50 billion in consumer lending.
That institutional discipline is exactly what he brought to ACP Energy. As SVP, Decatur runs corporate operations, financial infrastructure, investor reporting, and technology strategy from Charlotte, building the back office that lets ACP's field teams focus on what they do best: operating wells.
